Rail Trail Maintenance Underway Between Enderby and Rosemond Lake

Splatsin Development Corporation (SDC) has begun essential maintenance on the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail corridor, specifically the section between Enderby and the Rosemond Lake bridge.

Work began in late June and includes culvert maintenance and rail bed stabilization using heavy equipment. This maintenance supports long-term safety, improves drainage, and prepares the corridor for future trail enhancements.

At this stage, no new trail construction or aggregate surfacing will take place until approvals are received from the Agricultural Land Commission (ALC).

SDC reminds the public to avoid active work areas for safety, and thanks residents for their continued patience and cooperation.
