Splatsin Homes Show Home Update
We’re excited to share that the Splatsin Homes show home project is now in the final stages of construction.
This show home is the first build of a new and innovative housing product our team has worked hard to develop. More ambitious than our regular home designs, it features a three-storey structure that combines modern building science, materials, and construction methods to create a highly energy-efficient home.
Because the project is located on municipal commercial-designated land, it has involved additional regulatory, technical, safety, and permitting requirements. Architects, engineers, inspectors, and our construction team have worked closely together throughout the process to refine the design and ensure the home meets all applicable standards.
While the project has taken longer than originally anticipated, it has also provided valuable hands-on training for the Splatsin Homes team. As the team learned how the system comes together, they identified opportunities to improve the process along the way. Those lessons will help strengthen and streamline future residential home construction.
We’re proud of the dedication, patience, and problem-solving that have brought this project to the home stretch. Each milestone has moved the build forward while providing valuable experience that will benefit future Splatsin Homes projects.
